Application Procedures
A complete application will consist of the following:

Cover letter stating how you heard about this scholarship opportunity and why you feel the Jarrett Meeker Foundation should choose you for this scholarship. At the top of the letter include your name, home and cell phone numbers, and an e-mail address.

A two page essay that answers the following questions:

	What do you want to be doing professionally ten years from now? If this includes advanced degrees, in what fields, and where?
	When did you realize that this type of work was your life's ambition?
	A brief biography, including campus or community activities and/or service.

Applicant Appraisal form in a sealed envelope completed by a university faculty or staff member who knows you well. Only one appraisal is required.

Official copy of your complete University transcript.

Finalists will be interviewed. Awarded funds will be sent directly to the scholarship winner’s university to be applied toward required fees.
