Grant Program
Working collaboratively with organizations, The Jarrett Meeker Foundation
invites grant applications from individuals or organizations for projects
which, in keeping with the mission statement of The Jarrett Meeker
Foundation, will benefit children and/or young adults who desire to
understand, appreciate, and improve our natural world. The Jarrett
Meeker Foundation is committed to the fair treatment of all grant
applicants and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin
or ancestry in awarding its grants. |

Grant Amounts Previously Awarded
The amount of money available to the Jarrett Meeker Foundation for
grant awards varies from year to year. The value of the individual grants awarded, in most cases has been
between $180 and $5,800. One grant greater than $10,000 has been awarded.
Since its beginning in 1987, the Jarrett Meeker Foundation has spent
nearly $500,000 on programs that have benefited thousands of children and young adults, and helped to increase their understanding and appreciation
of nature and all living things. |
